My Story

I left the corporate world what feels like a lifetime ago, driven by my desire to help people heal. Initially, I was fascinated by modern medicine and even considered medical school, but I found myself deterred by its heavy reliance on pharmaceuticals. While Western medicine excels at emergency medicine, it usually fails to address the deeper roots of disease.

Meanwhile, I immersed myself in yoga and meditation, searching for a more holistic approach. Then I discovered acupuncture, and a light bulb went off: here was a modality that realigns our energetic pathways and offers a path to genuine healing. Without hesitation, I quit my job and enrolled in acupuncture school.

Over the years, my perspective has evolved. I’ve come to believe that healing can arise from many avenues—sometimes in surprising places. Even Western medicine has developed more integrative branches, such as functional medicine, which delves deeper into the root causes of illness.

For me, healing is a direction: we’re either moving toward it or away from it, and sometimes we circle back in unexpected ways. My mission now is to continuously explore these diverse pathways and share them with my patients.

My Shift to Cosmetic Acupuncture

Lately, I’ve refocused on cosmetic acupuncture and microneedling, returning to my original interest from when I first graduated and worked at Adele Acupuncture in NYC. Over time, my practice had expanded into emotional healing, complex conditions, and pediatric acupuncture—methods that are more subtle and gentle than traditional Chinese acupuncture.

I’ve witnessed how even a single needle can create a profound shift, and I’m fascinated by how the body responds to this seemingly delicate stimulation. Although musculoskeletal issues often require a different approach, for most other conditions, gentle needling can be remarkably effective.

I’m drawn back to cosmetic acupuncture because of the precision and gentleness it demands. Our face is our calling card—an expression of our history, health, and spirit. Even an untrained eye can read burdens like resentment, pain, and worry on a person’s face. Yet I believe this can be rewritten.

No matter what we’ve experienced, we have the capacity to heal, rediscover hope, and let our eyes sparkle with renewed vitality.

Because I have long practiced acupuncture for emotional well-being, I naturally incorporate that sensitivity into my cosmetic offerings. I see facial rejuvenation not just as an aesthetic improvement, but as a chance to unwind lingering emotions and reshape our outward expression into one that reflects the goodness of the human spirit, rather than the hardships of life.

Always Evolving

Each patient I see has a unique story, and every session is an opportunity for growth. I’m continually learning, staying abreast of the latest scientific research, and integrating these findings with traditional healing practices. This commitment to growth and discovery is what makes my work so fulfilling.

By blending a variety of modalities—ranging from gentle acupuncture and emotional healing methods to cosmetic acupuncture and microneedling—I guide patients toward a more balanced and radiant life. Ultimately, my purpose is to inspire and empower you to move steadily toward wholeness, one needle (and one smile) at a time.
